Mahabad- Yunis Ahmedzada participated in protests last year regarding the torture and murder of Shwana Ghadri, after which he was freed on bond before being detained again without any new charges. Ibrahim Faraji has been detained by the Iranian Islamic Regime for having contact with a Kurdish Political Party, he was jailed both in Orumia and Mahabad. This is his second stint in prison, and he is unwell. His family is no longer able to pay their rent, as they are a blue collar family without their principle provider.
Farogh Quha from Bokan was jailed at the beginning of this year along with his father, Mohamad Salah, both were recently sentenced to another four months in jail for contacting a Kurdish political party.
